Enterprise Management Associates’ (EMA) research has uncovered some compelling statistics related to Cloud integration:
- Nearly 50% of the companies surveyed have already deployed tiered transactions spanning public Cloud and on-premise computing environments (one form of “hybrid Cloud”)
- Approximately 35% have integrated (or are in the process of integrating) multiple Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
As one customer interviewed for this research declared, “If I didn’t have an integration tool, I could still use Salesforce. However the real power of SaaS lies in moving data across multiple systems and delivering it to end users in their own tool.”
